OUTDOOR PAINTING VISITS
These sessions provide opportunities to meet up with other members of the club and paint together in the sunshine but be prepared for painting in all weathers. Hats with brims can sometimes be more useful than sunglasses.. We suggest that members arrange their own transport to the venue. Don't worry if its your first time - bring along just a few sketching materials or a small travel box of watercolours and a light-weight deck chair or stool and a water holder (and water) to paint and have fun!
Members often have difficulty in locating others on arriving at the site. Where necessary a meeting point will be designated where early arrivals can wait until others arrive and perhaps leave a note for later arrivals.
The following venues have been selected to provide opportunities for members to enjoy social painting with fellow members. They are subject to change or variation and final details will be provided via Newsletter / Club Bulletins.
Price: Varies depending upon travel, parking and refreshments agreed at each Venue. Occasional costs for tutors if giving a talk.
Contact: Summer Sketching Lead via contact form to confirm attendance or clarify final arrangements.
Note: details may change, so all visits are subject to email confirmation. Please don't just turn up!
