Maidenhead Painting Club is an art club for all abilities with the only prerequisites being that you are 18+ years of age are interested in painting and drawing; . The current annual membership fee is £22, payable annually in September (no pro rata).
Want to try it out before joining? of course! We invite anyone interested in joining the club to come along for a free "taster session" at a class/group of their choice first, so they can talk to existing members and see the club "in action" as it were. If you are interested in joining the Maidenhead Painting Club please read the Club Rules and Data Policy, Objectives and Statements. and complete the enquiry form below. You will normally be invited to 'try out' a class as a guest before joining as a member.
If you have already done a 'try out' at a class, or don't wish to attend a class, please complete the new member application form and follow the payment instructions.
Please note all classes are currently held during the day, while demonstrations, talks and critiques vary, often taking place during afternoons and evenings.
Membership includes:
1. Access to inexpensive art classes/groups (extra fee payable depending on the class) in Maidenhead and Cookham including Portraits (Monday mornings), Watercolour (Thursday morning) and Mixed Media (Thursday mornings and afternoons).
2. Art demonstrations, talks and critiques (3 - 6 per year)
3. Social events and outings to galleries and other exhibitions
4. Summer sketching and painting events (July - Sep)
5. Opportunity to take part in exhibitions at local venues or online
6. Being part of a friendly, welcoming art club which encourages artists of all ages and abilities
